Methodology

Share = one venue's flagship BTC-USDT perpetual 24h volume / the six-venue total. This is a relative share among six venues — unconnected exchanges (e.g. Coinbase, Kraken spot) and coin-margined or delivery contracts are excluded. The spot BTC share uses CoinGecko's market-wide scope for reference.

How to use it

BTC volume concentrates toward the deepest books during violent moves, while calm regimes let smaller venues gain a little. A venue whose BTC share diverges sharply from its all-coin share has a lopsided flow mix (alt-heavy or BTC-heavy).
