How to read it
Like Google search interest, Wikipedia pageviews gauge mainstream attention: they spike during bull-market manias and crash panics, and go quiet in ranging markets. The monthly chart clearly shows the 2017 and 2021 attention peaks.
Caveat
Attention is a coincident sentiment gauge — spikes can mark FOMO tops or panic bottoms, so read them alongside price direction. Not investment advice.
