Über die Stablecoin-Marktkapitalisierung
Was ist ein Stablecoin?
Ein Stablecoin ist eine Kryptowährung mit stabilem Wert, meist 1:1 an den US-Dollar gekoppelt, z. B. USDT und USDC. Sie sind die wichtigsten Abrechnungs- und Margin-Währungen des Kryptomarkts.
Warum ist die Marktkapitalisierung wichtig?
Das gesamte Stablecoin-Angebot gilt als trockenes Pulver des Marktes: Wachstum bedeutet Zufluss neuen Kapitals, Rückgang deutet auf Kapitalabfluss in Fiat hin.
Was ist ein Depeg?
Ein Depeg liegt vor, wenn der Preis eines Stablecoins deutlich von 1 $ abweicht. Abweichungen über 0,5 % markieren wir als Warnung, über 2 % als schweren Depeg.
