What is max liquidation pain?
It is the price level where the largest cluster of pending liquidations sits. For longs it is below the current price; for shorts it is above.
How is it different from options max pain?
Options max pain concerns option writers' strike exposure at expiry; liquidation max pain concerns leveraged futures positions and works on any timeframe.
How fresh is the data?
The model recomputes every 5 minutes from the latest price, volume and open-interest data; the page refreshes automatically every 60 seconds.
