It is a single forced-closure of a leveraged futures position with a large USD notional value. This page ranks the biggest such orders across the exchanges we track, refreshed in real time.
Does a big liquidation mean the price will reverse?
Not always, but clusters of large liquidations often occur near local price extremes because forced selling (long liquidations) or forced buying (short liquidations) can exhaust one side of the market.
How often is this list updated?
The list refreshes automatically about every 30 seconds using live liquidation feeds from major exchanges.
