What is the rich list

The rich list ranks on-chain addresses by the amount of bitcoin held, surfacing the network's largest holders. Caveat: one address is not one person — exchange cold wallets and custodians often shard or consolidate huge sums across a few addresses, so a single address may represent millions of users; conversely one whale may split across many addresses. The list reflects on-chain address concentration, not a true personal-wealth ranking.

How to use it

Watch the top-holder concentration trend: a rising share means coins concentrating into whales/institutions, falling means dispersion. Known-entity labels help separate exchange-custodied balances from unlabeled mystery whales. The flow-tracking tab shows large deposits/withdrawals by rich addresses in near real time; sustained outflows from exchanges often signal HODLing or cold-storage moves. Don't over-read a single window; cross-check with liquidation and funding data.
