What is BTC?
BTC is a US-listed spot Bitcoin ETF. It holds Bitcoin directly and tracks its price, giving investors regulated exposure through a normal brokerage account without self-custody of the underlying asset.
How is BTC's net flow calculated?
Each US trading day, the issuer reports share creations (inflows) and redemptions (outflows) for BTC. A positive net flow means investors bought more shares than they redeemed that day, requiring the issuer to buy more Bitcoin.
What does BTC's premium/discount mean?
Premium/discount shows how far BTC's market price trades from its net asset value (NAV) per share. A persistent premium suggests strong demand outpacing share creation; a discount can signal redemption pressure or liquidity stress.
How is BTC's estimated holdings calculated?
Estimated holdings = BTC's AUM (in USD) divided by the latest Bitcoin spot price. This is a derived approximation, not an official per-fund token count published by the issuer.
